Philippians 2:12 ESV — “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Paul uses the phrase work out to describe how he hopes the Philippian church will cultivate their salvation. He clearly describes salvation as a process or journey, not a one-and-done event. The same is true of our ministry, as our events don't provide the ultimate mountaintop experience that provides all the answers. Our goal is to plant seeds, nurture, water, prune and nourish the lives of students in which the Holy Spirit is already hard at work.

Committed to investing in ministries around the area and across the country as a ministry of the Synod of the Heartland.

  • To us, a co-op is a united group of ministries, youth groups, organizations, and other teams cooperating together to further God’s Kingdom. We’re not just a ministry doing ministry to people, but a cooperative team of various groups working together to cultivate young people’s faith.

    “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds, and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,” (Ephesians 4:11-14)

  • A small seedling represents the growth the Holy Spirit has already begun in students’ lives as well as the immense potential that is present for future growth. No matter where students come from, no matter what their past roots look like, they are welcome.

    "For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20-21).

    In the Bible and through life, a person’s relationship with Jesus can be likened to a beautiful growing plant. We aspire to support students and leaders in every phase of their faith. Whether it’s tilling the soil of their heart to prepare for the Holy Spirit, watering their faith through Biblical teaching and community, or even through pruning, we are here to support all in whatever phase they find themselves in.

    “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:1)

  • Yes. We are still a ministry of the Synod of the Heartland in the Reformed Church of America. We’re excited to continue to partner with the SOH and explore how we might grow together.
